CES an Overview
For more than a century, Department of Education is committed to provide quality education to Filipino children. With collaboration to various global educators; conceptualization, innovation and techniques were applied and implemented. Feed backing and continuous search for appropriate learning course is being done to improve learners’ capacity to accumulate knowledge and apply learned concepts in everyday activities so they can become fruitful citizens of the country.
Globalization of learning process was spearheaded by United Nations Organization under the children’s welfare (UN ICEF). Through an agreement to protect the children, quality education is one leeway for its implementation. All nations, who believe that young generations will be the next in line of power for a better world, join to pursue its goal.
Locally, Cuneta Elementary School of Pasay City aims to achieve mastery of all major subjects, zero non-readers and drop-out rate, and reach all the children to come back to the school and complete the basic education. Before the data gathering, this plan was introduced to the staff, faculty and community through the PTA in seminars and meetings; familiarized them with the pros and cons of school plight because
of the fact that Muslim comprise 50% of its enrolment. A taut scrutiny of school condition was done; accumulate more knowledge in management; clarifying strategies and reformation of techniques, find linkages and resources; attend seminars, trainings, meetings, quality circles with the stakeholders resulted to the preparation of this plan. This plan is an idealistic plan that can be fulfilled and not just dreamed on.This School Improvement Plan caters to achieve its goals and must be implemented piously and supported by the government
